About the Department
The Department of Mathematics is one of the pioneering departments of NIT Mizoram, equipped with a strongly motivated faculty. Mathematics, known as the queen of all sciences, plays an integral role in engineering courses. Recognizing the growing importance of Mathematics and Computing, the department has introduced a new BTech Programme in Mathematics and Computing. This program aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of mathematical principles and their applications in computer science and related fields.
In addition to the B.Tech Programme, the department also offers a PhD Programme in Mathematics.
