Admissions to B.Tech degree programs in Chemical Science & Technology, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mathematics and Computing, and Mechanical Engineering at NIT Mizoram in the year 2026 are only through seats allocated during Central Counseling conducted by The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) and Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB).

As announced through JoSAA 2026 schedule, there will be five rounds of seat allocation. After the JoSAA rounds conclude, any vacant seats in the NIT+ System will be filled through CSAB Special Rounds conducted via the official CSAB portal (https://csab.nic.in). This year CSAB-Special and DASA (Direct Admission of Students Abroad) have been brought under one umbrella. DASA & CSAB-Special 2026 shall have two rounds of seat allocation. Interested candidates in CSAB-Special 2026 must complete fresh registration after completion of JoSAA rounds, noting that all processes – including registration, choice filling/locking, seat allotment, and fee payment – differ from JoSAA procedures. The document verification for DASA candidates shall be done prior to seat allotment. The same for CSAB candidates shall be done during the rounds. Physical Reporting to NIT Mizoram for Admission
The physical verification of documents and reporting for admissions to NIT Mizoram will be from August 17 – 21, 2026 for all the candidates (seats allocated through different JoSAA and CSAB Special rounds for all B.Tech 1st year students.
