- Head, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering: Head of the Department (HoD) is responsible for providing academic and administrative leadership for the department. The HoD oversees teaching-learning activities, research and development, curriculum implementation, faculty coordination, student welfare, laboratory and infrastructure management, accreditation activities, and departmental planning. | AI assisted end to end Fintech assistance solutions for farming systems for oil seeds (mustard, sunflower, etc.) cultivation in Mizoram | The project is aimed towards (i) the development of an integrated electronic sensor system for concurrent, networked monitoring and collection of long-term climate and field condition data wirelessly for smart and efficient agriculture, water resource, and irrigation management. Developed prototypes would be used for Aizawl districts (ii) to make fintech solutions in terms of mobile app design and website design for smart farming in Mizoram. | A Low Power Edge Enabled Smart and Secure Precision Agriculture Ecosystem | The project aims to develop an AI-based SoC system for precision agriculture with cellular network connectivity. | Development of a portable neonatal intensive care unit for new born puppies | Developing a Portable Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for Puppies (PNICUP) will help dog breeders and canine obstetrical units with the proper management of newborn puppies. PNICUP will be a special impregnated portable unit with advanced special care for the tiniest patients. It may also care for puppies that are not as sick but need specialized nursing care.
