B.Tech Admission 2020

Admission to B.Tech degree programs (CSE, ECE, EEE,ME,CIVIL) at NIT Mizoram in the year 2020, through Central Counseling Board, will be based on the performance in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) – 2020. Reservation of seats is as per the rules of Govt. of India. "Based on the large numbers of request from candidates who were allotted seat in CSAB Special Round II allotment and could not pay the seat acceptance fee (including document upload and verification) due to Cyclone Nivar in the southern part of the country, it has been decided to provide an opportunity to such candidates.

In light of this, extension to upload documents and pay the seat acceptance fee is being extended up to 08:00 PM on 06-12-2020 as per the following schedule.

Since there will be less number of candidates for document verification, the document verification activity will be carried out at central level from CSAB headquarter. To avoid any technical difficulties, PI module login for all VCs and associated PIs will remain suspended for 3 days (05-12-2020 to 07-12-2020).
Further, you are requested to perform the Online reporting for these candidates including left-over candidates who have secured their seat but not taken admission at their finally allotted Institute (Including JoSAA and CSAB Special Rounds)  during 08-12-2020 and 09-12-2020"



Uploading of Student Information  

 The students till CSAB I round who have confirmed their admission are informed to visit the link at http://nitmzadmission.mastersofterp.in/    .  Students can log in using their JEE Application No and DOB and complete all details including uploading of necessary documents. They are strcitly informed to adhere to the following schedule for login into the portal and filling up of their details.


27.11.2020  - CE from 5 pm till 6 am 28.11.2020
28.11.2020 - CSE from 7 am till 6 pm.
28.11.2020 - ECE from 7 pm till 6 am 29.11.2020 
29.11.2020 - EEE from 7 am till 6 pm 
29.11.2020 - ME from 7 pm till 6 am 30.11.2020
30.11.2020 - CSAB II fresh candidates from 7 am till 6 pm

2. Printout of Registration form and Locked Choices and Provisional Seat Allotment letter.

4. Admit Card of JEE (Main).
5. Score Card of JEE (Main)
6. Class X (High School) Board Certificate  / AADHAR as proof of date of birth.
7. Pass Certificate and Marks sheet of qualifying examination.
8. Photo ID proof (Adhar card/Ration card/Voter/Pan card)
9.  Migration certificate from last Institute/Univ. attended.
10. Character and conduct certificate from the institution last attended.
11. School Leaving/Transfer certificate
12. Affidavits for Anti-Ragging

  All the students are hereby instructed NOT to come/visit physically to NIT Mizoram till the notification for physical reporting is issued by the Institute. Classes will be conducted online.




  •   As per the decision of JOSAA 2020 central committee   
  •       Those candidates who have deposited the partial admission fee are also eligible to participate in CSAB Special Rounds and it may be possible that such candidates may get another seat at different Institutions in CSAB special rounds. Therefore, in order to avoid the duplicate reporting of a candidate at two different Institutions it has been decided that online reporting of admitted students at Institute will not be done during 16th – 21st November, 2020.  ·     
  •       After CSAB special round the final list of the candidates allotted/admitted at a PI will be provided in order to carry out the admission of NEW as well as retained (those who have deposited partial admission FEE and did not report at PI during 16th – 21st November, 2020) candidates.
  • ·      Finally, after CSAB special rounds the ONLINE REPORTING for all the candidates (who have taken final admission at PIs) has to be done on CSAB portal during 25th – 30th November, 2020.


  • The admission to the B.Tech. programmes is provisional and subject to verification of all required documents in original for satisfying the eligibility criteria.
  • Due to COVID-19 pandemic, teaching and assessments of the courses of B.Tech. 1st Semester  will be conducted online.
  • All the students are hereby instructed NOT to come/visit physically to NIT Mizoram till the notification for physical reporting is issued by the Institute.
